Chicken Wild Rice Soup Recipe

Thank you to everyone who attended the apple orchard on Saturday, it was a lot of fun and nice to see everyone again. To those who asked for the recipe for the chicken wild rice soup. Here it is.
- 2 QUARTS CHICKEN BROTH
- 1/4 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
- 1 CUP CELERY
- 1/4 TEASPOON DRIED THYME
- 1 CUP CARROTS
- CUP ONION
- 1 TEASPOON CHICKEN BOUILLON
- 1 TEASPOON PARSLEY FLAKES
– BRING TOP EIGHT INGREDIENTS TO A BOIL AND SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES.
– IN A DUTCH OVEN ,MELT CUPS BUTTER AND STIR IN CUPS FLOUR COOK FOR 4 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
– ADD BROTH MIXTURE AND BRING TO A BOIL. ADD 1 CAN CONDENSED CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP AND 3 CUPS WILD RICE, 2 CUPS COOKED CHICKEN.
– SIMMER FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES AND IT IS READY FOR DINNER.
